Arkansas Baptist Children’s Homes and Family Ministries (ABCHomes) will host the “A Model of Hope” Fashion Show & Dinner April 6 at the Benton Event Center, Benton, Ark. “A Model of Hope”is a charity gala raising funds to benefit ABCHomes, a 122-year-old agency that, in 2016 alone, impacted the lives of 300 children and teens who lived at the seven ABCHomes locations. Many of these residents come to ABCHomes from situations of severe abuse, abandonment or neglect. The fashion show will showcase spring collections from area businesses will be modeled by 15 ABCHomes residents. Participants will model casual and dressy outfits. A Meet & Greet begins at 6 p.m. and will be followed by the fashion show and dinner at 6:30 p.m. The masters of ceremonies are Scott Inman, local Little Rock TV personality, and Kristen Glover Belew, Miss Arkansas 2011. The fashion show is sponsored by Crain Automotive Team, Centennial Bank and other individuals. “The event will not only be an evening of fun, but also will be uplifting and help build each participant’s self-esteem,” said Stella Prather, ABCHomes director of communications.
