Jenny Carson Travel is seeking a skilled and creative Marketing & Social Media Specialist to support our travel brand with content creation, digital marketing, and customer communication. This is a PRN (as-needed) position with flexible hours that vary by project and season.
Key Responsibilities:
• Social Media Content Creation
• Develop engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
• Create and post Reels, Stories, and short-form video content to promote tours, travel tips, and client experiences
• Monitor and engage with social audiences especially while I am traveling
• Digital Marketing & Monthly Newsletter Management
• Design and distribute a monthly e-newsletter using Wix
• Write copy and design layouts to reflect the brand voice and travel offerings
• Email Marketing & Contact Management
• Compile and organize email contact lists
• Segment audiences for targeted email campaigns
• Ensure compliance with email marketing best practices
• Technology & Web Support
• Work within Wix to update or maintain pages and forms
• Assist with basic IT needs related to marketing and travel promotions
Requirements:
• Proven experience in marketing, social media management, and digital content creation
• Proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Reels/Stories editing tools
• Strong writing, visual storytelling, and branding skills, excellent grammar
• Experience with Wix and email campaign platforms
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable with flexible and variable work hours (PRN basis)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in travel, tourism, or hospitality industries
• Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Spark, or other design tools
• Video editing skills a plus
• Enthusiasm for travel and storytelling
Honest, dependable person with a great personality!
Must have own reliable transportation. Must sign confidentiality agreement for Jenny Carson Travel.
Must be able to assist with local marketing events.
