Job Description
The Cotton Shed is a 32,000 square foot vendor-based mall with approximately 200 vendors who rent booth space to sell their items.  Our store manager is responsible for facilitating all daily operations and supervising our staff team of 15.  This is a full-time, salaried position, reporting directly to the store owners.
 
Responsibilities:
* Supervise staff team which includes scheduling and overseeing daily performance
* Assist with hiring and training new staff
* Manage in-store events and promotions
* Ensure that processes and procedures are being followed by staff and vendors
* Serve as the main point of contact for vendors
* Assist with recruiting and signing up new vendors
* Assist with marketing initiatives and developing new strategies to increase customer loyalty
* Attend scheduled staff meetings
* Support and promote The Cotton Shed Vintage Market and High Cotton Decor
* Assist with other tasks and projects as needed.
 
Requirements:
* Enthusiasm, energy, and a willingness to learn are a must!
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Able to work holidays and weekends
* Previous retail experience preferred but not required
* Experience with Microsoft Office a plus
